Refund Policy

1. Introduction

This policy is designed to give you confidence that when you send messages through our website, those messages will be received by genuine website users.
1.2
This policy does not affect any statutory rights you may have as a consumer (such as rights under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013 or the Consumer Rights Act 2015).
2. Fake profiles
2.1
For the purposes of this policy, a profile on the website is a "fake profile" if we make a reasonable determination that it is fraudulent, phony or otherwise fake
2.2
In determining whether a profile is a fake profile, we will take account of some or all of the following matters:
(a)
whether the images associated with the profile are available elsewhere on the internet;
(b)
the description associated with the profile; and
(c)
the messaging history associated with the profile.
3. Notification of fake profiles
3.1
If you become aware of any profile on the website which you have reason to believe is a fake profile, you should notify us by email or using our abuse reporting form.
4. Deletion of fake profiles
4.1
If we delete a fake profile from the website, then:
(a)
messaging allowances that you have spent upon any messages sent through our website to the fake profile will be re-credited to your account; and
(b)
any credits that you have earned as a result of the sending of those messages will be deducted from your account (although you will be able to re-earn the credits by sending messages to other profiles in accordance with the usual rules).
5. Refunds and deductions
5.1
If you are entitled to a messaging allowance re-credit under this policy, we will arrange for the relevant allowance to be added to your account promptly following the deletion of the fake account.
5.2
If any credit deduction has been incurred under this policy, we will deduct the credits from your account promptly following the deletion of the fake account.
5.3
You will have no rights under this policy or otherwise to any cash payment.
6. Deleted accounts
6.1
If you delete your account on our website, you will have no right to any re-credits of messaging allowances under this policy.
